Zoeys 1st Christmas

Christmas could not have gone better this year. I awoke to the adorable smile of Zoey and some Baileys Caramel woke my coffee up. Stockings stuffed with giftcards, scotch-mallows, and beef jerkey set the stage for the mountain of presents to be opened. The barely visable floor became the home to the numerous presents for Zoey that lit-up, laughed, clicked, and spoke. The pile of clothes she received grew and grew as she became more and more sleepy. Her excitement was usurped by her sleepy eyes.

An extremely nice jacket/hoodie found it's way into my pile as well as an amazing HP netbook, which I'm typing this blog upon. Breakfast was made and wine poured. The football game was exciting even though I could care less about the teams. Round ice balls were surrounded by scotch and the mattress called while Steph played vinyl on her new record player.

It was truely a great experience watching Zoey open and enjoy her gifts on Christmas morning and I look forward to many many more.
